Tiger Sees Progress In Final Round At Doral
DORAL, Fla. (AP) -- Tiger Woods found reason to be encouraged about his game Sunday at the Cadillac Championship.
Woods finished off another ordinary week by matching his best score of the year with a 6-under 66 at Doral that gives him his best result of the season through five tournaments.
He also had a 66 in the second round of the Dubai Desert Classic.
Woods says he's still bothered by not winning, or even having a chance to win. But he says he saw some positive signs for the next time he plays.
He also said he was peaking at just the right time -- then smiling as he mentioned a made-for-TV exhibition the next two days.
He next plays at Bay Hill in two weeks, his final tuneup for the Masters.
