Tiger At Peace As Thousand Oaks Tournament Nears
THOUSAND OAKS (AP) -- Tiger Woods says he is more at peace with himself than at the start of his season, and he is hopeful his year will not end without a victory.
Woods spoke via satellite Monday at his Chevron World Challenge, which will be held Dec. 3-6. Woods has not played the last two years, missing in 2008 while recovering from knee surgery and last December because it was a week after the car accident that exposed his extramarital affairs.
Woods was divorced in August and said his two children are adjusting to their new living conditions.
He says he learned a lot about himself and how everything went wrong, and that he had to take a deep look at himself.
He said, "There weren't a lot of things I liked about it."
