Ticketmaster Sells Some Fans Duplicate Sugar Bowl Tickets
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Headed for the Sugar Bowl? Better check those tickets to make sure they're not duplicates that have been mistakenly sold by Ticketmaster.
Los Angeles-based Ticketmaster released a statement Thursday that a number of duplicate tickets were inadvertently sent by Ticketmaster to some purchasers, who received two tickets to the same seat.
The Ticketmaster customers who received the double tickets were asked to destroy the duplicates.
Duplicate tickets scanned and admitted prior to the presentation of the original ticket will result in the original ticket being denied entry, Arkansas Razorbacks officials said.
The Razorbacks have a complete list of seats for which duplicate tickets were sold. Fans with questions can call Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000.
The Razorbacks play the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 4 in New Orleans.
