The Agency's Mauricio Umansky Offers Exclusive Look Inside Sky-High Penthouse

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Downtown Los Angeles has become a destination all its own as it's home to L.A. Live, Staples Center and five-star accommodations rivaling New York City.

"The landscape of downtown has completely changed over the past few years, and it really has started with L.A. Live," says Mauricio Umansky, the founder and CEO of Beverly Hills-based real estate firm The Agency.

At the heart of it all are the Ritz-Carlton residences with 24 floors of sleek, luxury living.

"This is one of the most amazing penthouses. Period," he said.

Umansky met CBS2 for an exclusive look inside Penthouse 51-A, a two-story, three-bedroom, four-bath fully furnished 6,600-square-foot palace in the sky listed for $15 million.

"This place just opens up to the entire dining room, living room and the kitchen," Umansky said. "The whole entire condo is pretty much all Italian design."

Umansky says the kitchen is a "true chef's kitchen."

The space is modern and is top of the line down to every last detail. It's an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the world.

The penthouse also comes equipped with a hidden bar, refrigerated wine cellar that can hold hundreds of bottles and some of the best panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline.

"This is the most incredible master suite you will ever see. It's absolutely humongous. It's very private. It's very sexy," he said. "You've got your sleeping quarters. A living room. A sitting area."

Umansky said the master suite consists of two closets.

"The beauty of this property or the most important thing is that there is only one," he added.
