Temple City Elementary School On Lockdown Due To Bomb Threat
TEMPLE CITY (CBSLA.com) — A Temple City elementary school was on lockdown Wednesday due to a threat of two bombs on campus.
Two calls were made to Longden Elementary School, 9501 E. Wendon Street, and the California Highway Patrol just before 8 a.m., according to sheriff's officials.
The caller stated there were two bombs in undisclosed locations on campus, authorities said.
Students and school administrators were isolated on a field as deputies investigated.
There were no evacuations ordered in the immediate area.
