Teen Injured By Hit-And-Run Driver In Van Nuys

VAN NUYS (CBS) — A pedestrian who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Van Nuys Saturday was hospitalized in serious condition, according to police.

The 18-year-old man was hit just before 1 a.m. near Vanowen Street and Noble Avenue by a white Nissan Maxima or Infiniti traveling westbound on Vanowen, Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The driver fled the scene.

The man was hospitalized in serious condition, Baek said.
