Brush Fire Burns Near Sylmar Mobile Home Park

SYLMAR (CBSLA) — Crews battled a small brush fire Thursday near a mobile home park in Sylmar, authorities said.

The fire burning near the 15000 block of Glenoaks Boulevard started just after 1:30 p.m. in steep terrain near the Oakridge Mobile Home Park, according to fire officials.

Most of the flames were extinguished by 2:30 p.m.

There was no threat to any structures.
