Suspect Flees In Silver BMW After Robbing Wells Fargo Bank In Granada Hills
GRANADA HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles police are looking for a male suspect who robbed a San Fernando Valley bank Thursday morning.
Authorities received a robbery in progress call at 11:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank, 16844 San Fernando Mission Boulevard, in Granada Hills, police said.
Police say the armed suspect came into the bank and demanded money from employees. The suspect, described as a white man wearing a bandana over his face, escaped with only a few hundred dollars.
The suspect fled the scene in a silver BMW with paper dealer plates, police said.
Police are searching the surrounding area for the suspect. No further details about the robbery were released.
The bank robbery is under investigation by the LAPD's Robbery and Homicide division.
No one was injured in the incident.
