Suspects At Large After Officer-Involved Shooting
LOS ANGELES (KCAL 9) — Police Wednesday were searching for the suspects involved in an officer-involved shooting in South Los Angeles.
Somebody apparently started shooting at LAPD officers who were in the area of Budlong and Vernon avenues answering a call at around 9:40 a.m., and an officer fired back, Los Angeles police spokeswoman April Harding said.
None of the officers were hurt. It was unclear if any of the suspects were wounded.
Traffic was routed away from the area as police search for the suspects.
