Suspected Drunk Driver Kills Father And Son In Buena Park
BUENA PARK (CBS) — Authorities say an 18-year-old man who was allegedly driving drunk collided with another vehicle in Buena Park Saturday, killing a father and son.
Angel Lopez of Anaheim was driving at Crescent and Knott avenues around 5:30 a.m. when his 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer collided with another vehicle, said Lt. Gary Worrall of the Buena Park Police Department.
Steven Uselton, 44, and his 17-year-old son Douglas, died at the scene, he said.
Lopez was taken to West Anaheim Hospital with minor injuries, Worrall said.
Police believe Lopez may have been driving drunk. He was released from the hospital and arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
