Suspect Robs Chase Bank In San Jacinto
SAN JACINTO (CBS) — Riverside County authorities are on the hunt for a robber who held up a Chase bank, using a demand note.
The suspect, a Caucasian man believed to be in his 30s, walked into the store, a branch located in a Stater Bros. store, about 2:30 p.m. and gave a teller a demand note, police said.
No gun was seen, but the suspect held one hand inside his jacket as if he had one, police said.
Police described the suspect as thin, about 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a mustache. He was reportedly wearing jeans, a dark jacket, a black hat and sunglasses.
Authorities, in conjunction with the FBI, are reviewing videotape of the robbery in an attempt to identify the suspect. Police did not say how much money was taken.
Anyone with information that could lead to the suspect's arrest was urged to call police at (951) 654-2702.
