Suspect Reportedly Flees After Deputy-Involved Shooting In Compton
COMPTON (CBSLA.com) —A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy shot a domestic violence suspect in Compton Tuesday night.
Authorities responded to a domestic violence call in the 400 block of East Darlan Street.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they were confronted by a man involved in the reported dispute.
That's when a deputy was forced to discharge his weapon, according to Sky9's Stu Mundel.
Officers immediately set up a perimeter, but the suspect apparently fled the area in a silver BMW.
It's unclear whether the man was struck by gunfire.
No deputies were injured in the incident.
