Police Kill Suspect Outside Juice Shop In Santa Ana
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was killed by Santa Ana police after a short foot pursuit Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities initially responded to a disturbance call around 3 p.m. at a McDonald's parking lot in the Harbor Place Shopping Center in the 600 block of South Harbor Boulevard.
There were reports a man was being "combative," said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department.
Police chased the suspect in question to a nearby juice shop, where the man was shot. He was declared dead at the scene.
It's unknown if the suspect was armed.
