Suspect In Deadly Koreatown Hit-And-Run Surrenders To Police
KOREATOWN (CBS) — A man suspected in a deadly hit-and-run crash surrendered to police, officials said Monday.
Hari Robert Andujar, 44, was arrested and booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter Sunday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Andujar was driving a dark-colored SUV when he allegedly hit 42-year-old Doug Harden at 10:20 p.m. Saturday.
Harden, who was crossing Olympic Boulevard in Koreatown, was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
He was rushed to an area hospital following the crash, but was later pronounced dead.
Andujar's bail was set at $50,000.
