Suspect Flees Police By Running Into Van Nuys Airport
VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Police were pursuing a suspect in a stolen vehicle Wednesday night when he crashed into a pole and bailed on foot, running into the Whiteman Airport in Van Nuys.
Officers used a K-9 team to locate the man and take him into custody.
The very brief chase started around 9:40 p.m. and involved the LAPD Foothill division.
