Suspect Accused Of Attacking Security Guard, Robbing OC Adult Store In Custody
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery of an Anaheim business on Saturday.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, officers were sent during the early morning hours to the Couples Mega Outlet, located in the 900 block of South Euclid Street, for report of a robbery in progress.
Once on scene, officers learned that an altercation ensued between the suspect and security guard, after the suspect allegedly tried to rob the store.
According to police, the suspect hit the security guard with a water pipe. In response, the security guard grabbed a machete and tried to hit the suspect.
Officers reported the suspect was detained at the scene.
