Deadly Shooting Investigation Underway At Studio City Home
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday investigated the circumstances surrounding a deadly shooting in Studio City.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent around 7 p.m. Sunday to a home located in the 3700 block of Eureka Drive for report of shots fired in the area.
Upon their arrival, authorities located a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The gender of the victim remains unclear.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Their identity is being withheld pending family notification.
A preliminary investigation revealed the incident was not a homicide and the shooting appears to be accidental.
At this time, no one has been detained or arrested.
The investigation is ongoing.
