Student Stabbed During Fight At Trabuco Hills High School In Mission Viejo
MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA) — Students at Trabuco Hills High School were forced to shelter in place Friday while deputies investigated a stabbing on the Mission Viejo campus.
The stabbing at the school, 27501 Mustang Run, happened at about 2 p.m., according to social media posts from students who were sheltering in place. Deputies were on the scene within minutes.
At least one student was stabbed during a fight and suffered a non-life threatening injury, according to CBS2's Michele Gile. One male was detained.
The victim is reported to have sustained multiple stab wounds.
Authorities discllosed at about 5:15 p.m. on Twitter that they recovered a knife at the scene. Both of the students were also revealed to be juveniles.
By 3:40 p.m., authorities said the shelter-in-place order had been lifted, and students were able to leave campus.
