Crews Knock Down Structure Fire In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Crews made quick work of a "well involved" structure fire Tuesday at a two-story residential building in Los Angeles.
The blaze began around 1 p.m along the 2600 block of South Harvard Boulevard sending up a thick plume of smoke, authorities said.
Nearly 60 firefighters were sent to the scene, according to LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
A knockdown was declared around 1:20 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
No evacuations were ordered.
