Street Closures Announced For Vice President Biden's Visit
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sporadic traffic delays beginning Tuesday night are expected as Vice President Joe Biden comes to town for an event in North Hollywood.

Biden will be speaking at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bobrick Washroom Equipment, 6901 Tujunga Ave., to push for an increase in the minimum wage.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, rolling closures can be expected in areas stretching from Los Angeles International Airport to Beverly Hills to North Hollywood between Tuesday night and Thursday.
Although specific details about motorcade routes are never released, police recommended that motorists avoid the following areas Tuesday night:
-- Sepulveda Boulevard between Lincoln and Century boulevards between 9 and 11 p.m.;
-- Santa Monica Boulevard between Sawtelle and Wilshire boulevards from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m.; and
-- Wilshire Boulevard between Santa Monica Boulevard and Beverly Drive from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m.
According to police, southbound Rodeo Drive and El Camino Drive will be closed from Wilshire Boulevard beginning at 10 p.m. and continuing until 11 a.m. Thursday.
On Wednesday, motorists should avoid the following areas:
-- Wilshire between Beverly Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 2 to 4 p.m.;
-- Wilshire between San Vicente and Santa Monica boulevards from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and
-- Laurel Canyon Boulevard between Moorpark and Vanowen streets from noon to 3 p.m.
Tujunga Avenue will be closed between Sherman Way and Vanowen Street from 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
On Thursday, motorists should avoid the following areas:
-- Wilshire between Santa Monica Boulevard and Beverly Drive from 9 to 11 a.m.;
-- Santa Monica Boulevard between Sawtelle and Wilshire from 9 to 11 a.m.; and
-- Sepulveda between Lincoln and Century boulevards from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
