Strasburg Silences Dodgers In Return From Tommy John
(CBS) -- Stephen Strasburg was fantastic in his return from Tommy John surgery, pitching five scoreless innings against the Dodgers.
Strasburg was on a pitch count of 70, but needed only 59 to get through the Dodgers' lineup, allowing just two hits and striking out four.
The hard throwing Strasburg hit 99 mph on the radar gun, he had surgery last September 3rd.
Washington and the Dodgers are in a rain delay with the game tied at 3 with two outs in the top of the seventh inning.
