Stow Speaks For First Time Since Attack, Says He Wants To See His Kids
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The latest progress report on Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally beaten on Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, is nothing short of remarkable.
Stow's family says he is now talking for the first time since he was assaulted on March 31.
Since receiving a shunt to relieve pressure on his brain last week, Stow has said his first and last name, as well as his children's names.
When shown a photograph of his two children, he said he wanted to see them, according to his family's Web site.
Rialto neighbors Louie Sanchez and Marvin Norwood have both pleaded not guilty to mayhem, assault, battery and other counts in connection with the case.
Both men are being held on $500,000 bail and will return to court on Sept. 30.
