Storm Damage Prompts Closure Of Ortega Highway
SANTA ANA (CBS) — Officials say Ortega Highway and a stretch of the 241 Toll Road are expected to remain closed Sunday to allow emergency workers to repair storm damage.

The 241 Toll Road between the 133 and Santiago Canyon is expected to be closed until at least Monday, while numerous roadways in the canyons have been closed indefinitely as workers clear mud and water, the Orange County Register reported.
Although Laguna Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway were reopened Friday, the California Highway Patrol early Sunday closed the southbound lanes of Laguna Canyon Road between the San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor (SR 73) and El Toro Road. The northbound side remains open.
Beaches in Dana Point, Laguna Beach and San Clemente are closed until further notice as a result of multiple sewage spills caused by the storms. Twelve miles of beach from Crescent Bay to Poche County Beach remained off-limits, according to the Register.
