Stolen Credit Card Leads To Arrest Of Suspected Church Camera Thief
NORWALK (CBS) — A Norwalk man charged for using a stolen credit card has been identified as half of a duo responsible for stealing a video camera from a local church.
Tips from the public on Wednesday helped lead deputies to Hector Munoz, 21, whose image was captured on video March 19 when he and an unnamed suspect stole a video camera from LVN Church at 11910 Alondra Blvd., said sheriff's Detective Phil Fernandez of the Norwalk Station.
The other suspect remains at large.
Images of the pair were captured on video as they rode up to the church on bicycles, climbed a wall and stole a camera.
The illegal credit card purchases were made Feb. 13, Fernandez said, but it was unclear where the credit card came from.
