Stephen Colbert Will Lend His Voice To Waze Traffic App
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com/AP) — "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert will lend his voice to the Waze traffic app through Sept. 22, the app announced Tuesday.
The app is adding the option of other celebrity voices as well. The addition of Colbert's voice coincides with Colbert taking over hosting duties from David Letterman on CBS' "The Late Show" beginning Sept. 8.
Also Tuesday, CBS announced Vice President Joe Biden will be among Colbert's inaugural guests.
Biden will join previously announced guests Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and country singer Toby Keith on Sept. 10.
Other guests set to appear during Colbert's debut week include George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Schumer, author Stephen King, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" will air weeknights at 11:35 p.m.
