TV Producer Stephen J. Cannell Dies
PASADENA (CBS) — Stephen J. Cannell, the producer behind iconic TV shows like "The A-Team" and "21 Jump Street" died Thursday night at his Pasadena home. He was 69.
According to "Entertainment Tonight", Cannell was surrounded by family and loved ones when he died. Cannell had been suffering complications associated with melanoma.
Cannell was also the author of 16 novels. After overcoming dyslexia, Cannell became a spokesman on the condition and advocated for those with learning disabilities.
Cannell is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marcia, their three children, Tawnia, Chelsea and Cody, and three grandchildren.
