Stand-Off Underway In Reseda After Report Of Shots Fired
RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — A stand-off was underway Wednesday in Reseda after a police responded to a report of shots fired.
Neighbors in an apartment in the 18000 block of Sherman Way reported hearing gunshots around 12:15 p.m., according to the LAPD.
Police say when they arrived on scene a "known suspect" had allegedly barricaded himself inside the building.
Reseda Elementary and Leichman Special Education schools were placed on lockdown.
Sherman Way was shut down between Wilbur Avenue and Reseda Boulevard.
No injuries have been reported.
