Spurs Down Clippers In Preseason Game In Mexico

MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Gary Neal hit a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left to complete the San Antonio Spurs' comeback from an 18-point deficit in a 100-99 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.

DeJuan Blair led San Antonio with 21 points, while Tim Duncan added 17.

Eric Gordon was the Clippers' leading scorer with 23 points, and Rasual Butler added 20.

A putback by Chris Kaman off a missed free throw by Gordon gave the Clippers a 98-97.

The Spurs inbounded and Neal hit the jumper from in front of the Clippers' bench for his only points of the game.
