SoCal Endures Another Day Of Possibly Damaging Winds
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California is enduring another day of strong, gusty and possibly damaging winds.
The National Weather Service says high wind warnings will remain in effect until mid-afternoon Saturday over a wide area.
The warnings are expected to expire at 3 p.m for Los Angeles and Ventura counties and 1 p.m. for San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
Wind speeds will range from 25 to 45 mph in coastal and valley areas with gusts up to 70 mph in the mountains.
Wind damage or lightning strikes knocked out power for thousands on Friday in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Winds also forced closure of two rides at Disney's California Adventure.
