Someone In Buena Park Is Holding Powerball Ticket Worth $1.3 M

BUENA PARK (CBSLA.com) — Someone in Buena Park is holding a Powerball ticket worth $1.3 million.

Make that $1,306,323 to be exact.

The ticket matched 5/5 numbers in Saturday's draw but failed to also hit the Powerball number 33.  The five winning numbers drawn are 10, 12, 31, 56 and 57.

According to CA Lottery officials, that 5/5 ticket was purchased at 17 Food Store located at 6522 Stanton Avenue, #A, in Buena Park.

Four other Californians hit 4 numbers and the Powerball and win $41,371 each.

The jackpot for Wednesday's draw is an estimated $80 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball jackpots starts at $40 million and increase every time there isn't a top prize ticket. The record jackpot reached $588 million in November 2012.

Powerball costs $2 per play.
