Some Retailers Already Running Holiday Shopping Ads
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Some retailers have started running ads designed to jump-start holiday shoppers.
KNX 1070's Megan Goldsby reported that stores like Kmart, Macy's and Toys R Us are already offering discounts.

"The thing that turns me off is seeing them pushing Christmas on us in September. That angers me. It takes away from the real culture that's ahead of us," said shopper Matt Herwitz.
Some customers said they're wary of buying anything before Black Friday, when they usually kick off the holidays.
"If they're going to assure me the deals now are better than the deals in two months, I'd think about it. I don't trust them. There could be something better coming along," said a man.
"It just makes me anxious. I'm not ready yet. I just got finished with Yom Kippur and I can't shop," said another man.
