Social Networkers To Determine Plot Of New Online Film
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Christina Perasso is a young woman who is taking the web by storm after announcing she was kidnapped and left in a dismal room with very few items including a computer. She chronicles her daily activities and surroundings by posting photos and videos on Facebook and Twitter in hopes of finding a way out.
But here's the catch.
Perasso is a fictional character being portrayed by Emmy Rossum, who is known for her roles in "The Phantom of the Opera" and Showtime's "Shameless."
"The Inside Experience" is a social media film created by Intel and Toshiba in which Rossum is equipped only with a Toshiba laptop that allows viewers to have an interactive experience.
Each of the film's segments is based on viewer feedback and their ability to solve the puzzles Perasso presents to them. The faster people respond to her, the better her chances of finding a way out successfully.
