SoCal Youth Ice Skating Coach Charged With Molesting Boy
TORRANCE (CBS/AP) — A 29-year-old youth ice skating coach who worked at rinks throughout Southern California was charged Monday with molesting one of his underage male skaters.
Donald Vincent, who was arrested Friday at his Torrance home, was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts with a minor.
The suspect is being held on $1 million bail.
Last December, the now-17-year-old victim told Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators that he was molested at the coach's former Hacienda Heights residence when he was between the ages of 12 and 15.
Vincent reportedly coached young ice skaters over the past seven years at seven different rinks in Artesia, Lakewood, Norwalk, Paramount, Harbor City, Anaheim, and Riverside.
Anyone with information on other possible victims of Vincent is encouraged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Special Victims Bureau at (877) 710-5273.
