SoCal Gas Prices Drop To Lowest Amount Since July
CAMARILLO (CBS/AP) — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire dropped Sunday to its lowest amount since July 13.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in L.A. County dropped to $3.702. The average price of gas in Riverside and San Bernardino counties decreased to $3.669.
That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, released Sunday, which puts the average national price of a gallon of regular at $3.38. That's 10 cents less than three weeks ago.
Mid-grade costs an average of $3.55 a gallon, and premium is $3.69.
Diesel dipped two cents to $4.02 a gallon.
In California, the lowest average price was $3.42 in Stockton and the highest was $3.73 in Bakersfield. The average statewide for a gallon of regular was $3.52, down a dime.
Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, Memphis, Tenn., has the nation's lowest average price for gas at $3.04. Long Island, N.Y. has the highest at $3.85.
