Smoke Reported Inside Terminal 5 At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA)  -- Smoke was reported inside Terminal 5 at LAX Sunday evening.

Officials investigated the source of the smoke and almost immediately determined it wasn't a threat or fire.

The smoke reportedly emanated from the refrigerator inside a coffee shop.

No injuries were reported. No evacuations were needed.

Desmond Shaw, reporting in Sky2, said it was a "scary situation" for some but the situation "calmed down rather quickly."
