Smash-And-Grab Robbers Hit Jewelry Store In West LA
WEST LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Three suspects walked into a Zales jewelry store at the Westside Pavilion in West Los Angeles Thursday and committed a smash-and-grab robbery.
Amanda Burden, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, said the thieves made off with about $130,000 worth of merchandise.
Witnesses said the suspects fled into a nearby parking structure and jumped into a sedan.
Two of the suspects rode up front, another reportedly jumped into the trunk of the vehicle.
No color or year was given for the sedan.
The robbery occurred just after 8:20, according to officials.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
