Small Fire Breaks Out In Wall At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A small electrical fire broke out in a wall at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Wednesday morning.
Light smoke was first reported in a stairwell of the hospital's west tower around 9:19 a.m., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Firefighters evacuated the building, which houses medical offices, as a precaution, Scott said.
The fire was knocked down in 26 minutes, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
