Firefighters Knock Down Small Brush Fire In Highland Park
HIGHLAND PARK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have extinguished a small brush fire that erupted in the Highland Park area.
The fire Tuesday afternoon erupted in the 4600 block of Townsend Avenue and scorched an estimated two acres.
About 75 firefighters were dispatched to the blaze, as well as a helicopter.
The fire was knocked down in just under 40 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
