Sketch Released Of Man Suspected In Sexual Assault Of 15-Year-Old Girl
LAKE ELSINORE (CBS) — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has released a sketch of a man they say sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in a field Tuesday.
The girl told investigators she was walking home through the field at approximately 7 p.m. when the suspect approached, trying to strike up a conversation.
The victim attempted to walk away from the man when he allegedly knocked her down to the ground and raped her, detectives said.
The teen was able to eventually get away and run home.
Authorities are now asking for the public's help in finding the 6-foot-tall suspect, who was described as a white man in his late 20s, wearing glasses and a bandana. The suspect may have a tattoo on his upper right arm.
The Riverside Sheriff's Department is urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Investigator Ryan Deanne or Investigator Amy Beatty from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station Investigations Bureau at 951-245-3300, or Sheriff's Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
