Sinkhole Shuts Down Street In San Pedro
SAN PEDRO (CBS) — Officials were circumventing motorists around a sinkhole in San Pedro Monday night.
Crews have closed Paseo Del Mar, from 650 feet west of Weymouth to White Point Nature Preserve, as they worked on the obstruction. Access to the Nature Preserve was to remain open.
Sky2 reporter Stu Mundel said the street wasn't completely collapsed but there was an obvious dip in the roadway.
Multiple city agencies were inspecting the sinkhole and trying to determine its cause.
