Sinise Headlines 'Lt. Dan Band' On Set Of 'CSI'
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — You may best know him from his role in the Oscar-winning "Forest Gump", but now actor Gary Sinise has turned what started as a way to boost morale for U.S. troops into a second career.
"The Lt. Dan Band", named after the character played by Sinise in the 1994 Tom Hanks film, is taking his show to troops and their families across the nation -- and they've even scheduled a performance on the very same studio lot where Sinise films his television series, "CSI:NY".
