1 Killed, 1 Injured In Accident On 210 Freeway In La Verne
LA VERNE (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed early Wednesday morning after a dump truck collided with a sedan on the eastbound 210 Freeway.
The accident happened just before 3:30 a.m. at Fruit Street in La Verne, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to authorities, a Lexus sedan was parked on the shoulder for unknown reasons when the truck swerved and hit the vehicle from behind.
A man in the car was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
One other person was airlifted to County-USC Medical Center in critical condition, the CHP said.
"The truck driver did not appear to be injured at this time," Sgt. Ron Warrior said.
All eastbound lanes of the Foothill Freeway were shut down, as well as two lanes of the westbound side for repair work to the center divider. All lanes were reopened by 8:15 a.m.
