Shooting Death Investigation Under Way In Compton
COMPTON (CBS) — An investigation was under way Sunday into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Compton.
Deputy Tony Moore of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau says the victim, identified as a male Black adult, was shot at or near Peach Street and Oleander Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
The statement says the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
