Cracked Window Forces OC Flight To Land
SANTA ANA (CBS) — A flight from Atlanta to Santa Ana made an emergency landing in Dallas Thursday after the plane's cockpit window cracked mid-flight.
Delta Flight 1795 landed safely in Dallas where the plane was inspected and taken to the gate. The flight's 145 passengers boarded a different delta flight to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.
A photo submitted to cbsla.com by Mike Fleming, showed the Boeing 737's cockpit window severely cracked, but the glass remained intact.
