Security Guards Captured On Camera Taking Down Suspect At Long Beach Coin Expo
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Two men accused of stealing rare coins from a Redlands home were arrested at a coin expo in Long Beach, police said Monday. One suspect was caught on camera being taken down by security guards.
Redlands police said they arrested the men Friday after a vendor at the Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectible Show recognized some of the stolen coins the men were trying to sell.
Security guards were captured on camera taking down one of the suspects as he tried to run off. The second suspect was arrested without incident.
Those coins were reported stolen June 8 from a home in the 1600 block of Camelot Drive in Redlands.

A day after the two suspects were arrested, Long Beach Police arrested two women as they tried retrieve the first two suspects' Cadillac, which was parked next to the convention site, according to Redlands police's Facebook page.
