Second Storm Causes Traffic Headaches Across LA Roadways
GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — A second night of heavy rain brought traffic headaches to Southland roadways early Tuesday morning.
A SigAlert was issued overnight in the Cahuenga Pass from Barham Boulevard to Highland Avenue on the southbound 101 Freeway due to a six-vehicle crash, the California Highway Patrol said.
In Studio City, clogged storm drains caused the intersection of Moorpark Street and Colfax Avenue to flood.
The heavy downpour also triggered a small rock slide on Mulholland Drive, just east of Laurel Canyon. Both lanes were temporarily blocked as a result.
Rainfall totals for Tuesday's storm varied between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, forecasters said. The chance for rain will taper off through the first part of the day.
