Police End Search For Stabbing Suspect In Pacoima
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police concluded a search of a Pacoima neighborhood without apprehending a stabbing suspect, believed to be dangerous but not necessarily armed.
The area around Van Nuys Boulevard and DeFoe Avenue was sealed off about 3:20 a.m. Sunday after an officer put out a radio call for help and police evacuated surrounding residents from their homes.
The suspect, believed to be a male Hispanic in his 40s, remains at large at this hour, according to police.
The stabbing victim, whose relation to the suspect was not yet confirmed, was listed in stable condition. She was taken to a local hospital with stab wounds to the chest and neck.
The names of those involved have not been released.
