Seal Beach Residents Brace For More High Surf, Potential Flooding
SEAL BEACH (CBS) — Residents are bracing for more flooding Monday, as high tide and dangerous surf is expected to pound the Southern California coast.
Swells of up to 15 feet were reported Sunday in Seal Beach and Hermosa Beach, where a high surf advisory will be in effect until at least noon.
Free sand bags are available for residents at the Seal Beach lifeguard headquarters on Ocean Avenue.
Wind warnings will be in place throughout the day for Orange County and the Inland Empire, while wind advisories will be in effect for Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
CBS2's Chief Meteorologist Josh Rubenstein says that while it won't be as windy as Sunday, we can still expect damaging winds.
