Scully To Return Sunday To Call His 1st Home Game Of The Season
LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Vin Scully will return Sunday to call his first game at Dodgers Stadium of the season after suffering a severe cold, the team announced Saturday.
Scully is entering his 63 season with the Dodgers, making it the longest relationship with any broadcaster with a single club.
The 84-year-old broadcaster missed the Dodgers' home opener for the second time of his long-time career.
Charley Steiner and Steve Lyons have called the 5 games Scully missed.
Kershaw, who hasn't earned a win this year, will start Sunday against the San Diego Padres at 1 p.m. on Prime Ticket.
