School Bus Drivers Trained About Gun Threats
SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com) — Southland school bus drivers trained Sunday for the worst: gunfire on the job.
The eight-hour session was held in San Diego. Bus drivers from more than 30 school districts participated.
"You want to be in control. And it's important to show someone who's trying to get on the bus that you are the boss. And that's what they showed us how to do today: we're the boss of the bus," a female bus driver said.
Law enforcement officers showed drivers what to do if confronted by a gunman.
